Christmas 2009

We went up to Idaho to Dustys moms for Christmas this year. It was really fun. Linda and Reggie and their family came up as well. The kids loved being at Grandmas for Christmas. Ryan go his huge NERF gun that he asked Santa for and Jordyn got her Art Easel (which I somehow did not get a picture of! :( ). It was nice being with lots of family for the Holiday. Sugar Cookies and Frosting!!!

Me and the kids decided to make sugar cookies and frost them for Santa this year. It was loads of fun!!! The kids had a great time being very creative with the ways they decorated them. I love this time of year. I get to do all these fun things with my kids. It is great to be a mom!!!

Ryans School performance!!!

Ryan had his Christmas sing-a-long yesterday!!! It was really cute!!! I, unfortunately, forgot my camera and only brought my camcorder, so until Dusty has time to hook up the fire wire on the computer to get it on the computer, this post will just have words. He sang Rudolph the red nose reindeer and Christmas! It was great! Now he is home for 2 weeks on Christmas break! Yeah!!!! I love spending time with my kids. Today we are going to make cookies for Santa and tomorrow we head up to Idaho after Dusty gets off work. MeRrY cHrIsTmAs!!!!!

Jordyns Christmas Sing-a-long!

Jordyn had her Christmas sing-a-long at school today! It was really cute they sang the most adorable song about a snowman! I recorded it, and when, or should I say if I can figure out how to get it on the computer, I will try and upload it on here. It really is a cute song. Grandpa came to see her preform too, which was a nice surprise!!!

Gingerbread

Yesterday we went over to Linda and Reggies house and made gingerbread houses with the girls(and Phillip). It was lots of fun and alot harder than I thought it was going to be. Frosting is not the best glue in my opinion. Ryan and Jordyn decorated some gingerbread men to go with them and then Jordyn decorated the tree that goes beside the house. It was a fun time with family!!!

Sledding again!

We went sledding again!!! This time Phillip had just got here and Dustys brother Andy was in town too. It was me, Dusty, Ryan, Jordyn, Katherine, Phillip,Becca and Julia. It was really fun seeing all the "big"kids go sledding. I went down once, but I was mainly there taking pictures. It was great fun. I bet the big boys haven't been sledding in a long time.

I took the kids and Julia sledding today!!! It was fun and cold. They had a blast, but you know when it is time to go when all you hear is Jordyn crying because she is cold. Came home and made some hot chocolate.................mmmmmm fuzzy socks and hot chocolate-is there anything better???
