Halloween Carnival and a Parade!!

On Thursday we went to Jordyns school for there carnival they do every year for the kids. They sing some songs at first, then they have a whole bunch of games, a spook alley and some blow up bouncer things. Unfortunately my batteries died shortly after I took some pictures, but I did get some so that is the important thing. Today we went to Ryans school for the Parade!! All the classes go around to show everyone their costumes, then they come into the auditorium for the parents to see. Fun, Fun!!!! Now we just wait for the big day.....Halloween!!!

Jordyns Birthday Invitations!

I decided that for Jordyn's birthday party we were going to do a princess party. She is going to be turning 5 (OMG!) and I think that that is a special birthday. So I decided to make these birthday invitations for her to take to her class. The Aurora cut-out, which I did on my cricut, was soooooo hard. All the different colors had to be cut out separately. The little white eyes, the different shades of pink........yep all seperate!!! It is totally worth it though!!! She is so excited for her princess birthday!!! By the way, because they were so intricate to make, I only made so many. Everyone that I know who has a little girl is invited to come!!! It is Nov. 7 from 2-4 at my house (1261 west 1800 North in Pl. Grove )!! Have your little girl wear her favorite princess outfit!!! They will be making their own crowns, so if you plan on coming please let me know so I am sure to have enough for everyone!!! My cell is 801-362-5149. See you there!!!!

Park City!!!!

We went to Park City this weekend and stayed with the Lisle family in their timeshare. It was way fun!!! We went to the Olympic Park and saw all the neat stuff there and we attempted to go to the skate park there, but for some dumb reason they don't allow scooters at their skate park so we ended up just going to a regular park. I think the best part about the weekend was the Jacuzzis and the pool. They have a bunch of Jacuzzis and a heated pool. It was soooo relaxing and really fun for the kids. Thanks Lisles for inviting us to come up for the weekend!!!

Another cute hairdo!

Just another cute hairdo that I found on the blog scene!!! I love it! It takes regular french braids and makes them cuter just by weaving ribbon through it!

Painting Pumpkins!!!

As many people who know me know, I hate carving pumpkins!!! I takes up to much time, it is messy and when your done it usually doesn't look that good. At my house we paint our pumpkins. When the kids get older they can carve them if they want to, but while I am the one having to help them, WE PAINT. The kids really enjoy painting them too, so it isn't like I am depriving them of anything. The kids finally got to paint there pumpkins yesterday. They have only been asking me for a week. I wasn't feeling good so I decided to let them paint their pumpkins to give them something to do. They loved it.

Hee Haw!!!

Jordyn went on a field trip to Hee Haw farms with her pre-school on Thursday! She had a great time. They have re-done the farm because they had to move it because the city built a road right through their property. The kids got to go to the Animal Alley and through a corn maze. They also got to slide down the big white slide, go on a hay ride and go through the pumpkin patch and pick out a pumpkin. I love that I get to go on these trips with my kids!!! It is something that I wouldn't want to miss for the world.
