Kindergarten!!

Well Ryan started Kindergarten on Monday. It wasn't as sad as I thought it would be. I think the reason is because he went to Pre-school last year, and he went every day for two hours a day, and it is just like that this year. He was so excited to go though. We decided that we will walk to school while the weather is still good and that just made him so excited because he gets to ride his new scooter that he got for his birthday. Jordyn starts Pre-school next week (a post later to come!) so I get to have her for 2 hours by myself without Ryan and the Ryan for 2 hours by myself without Jordyn. It will be nice.

This was a really hard one, just because I am so Spectacular that it was hard to think of Unspectacular things!! :)

1) I secretly really want to be a Princess!!

2) If I don't have a Mountain Dew or Diet Pepsi everyday I will be a beast for the rest of the day.

3) I loved the New Kids on the Block even when they weren't cool, but pretended that I didn't.

4) I love cooking, but hate baking.

5)I am sometimes still afraid of the dark.

6) I am afraid of dogs. Not little teeny "yo queiro taco bell" dogs, but medium size ones. When I was like 4 or 5 I was teasing a neighbors dog and it bit me and ripped off half of my lip. Luckily, thanks to my dad, the doctor fixed it and now all i have is a scar.(the thanks to my dad part is that the doctor was going to put my lip back together in a way that i would have a wierd looking lip, but my dad showed him a different way that worked out great!!)

6 years ago today!!

Well it was six years ago today at 5:21a.m. that I had by little boy. I can't believe that it has already been six years! He is such a big boy. We are still in Idaho and so we had his birthday party here at Grandma Ashers house. He was so excited when we told him that he was going to have his b-day party in Idaho. We ended up getting a cake from Dairy Queen and had dinner at Grandmas. He was so excited the whole day!! He got a scooter, a Wii game(Super Smash Bros.), a really cool airplane, some p.j.s, some monster trucks and a cool airplane thing where you hit a button and the airplanes go flying. All in all he had a great time!! I think I might have him another party in Utah after school starts so he can invite some friends from school. His cousin Joshua made him a Happy Birthday sign out of legos, which I thought was pretty cool of him to do. Dustys mom said something to Dusty that just was like WOW, she said "just think in 10 years he will get his license." and I was like OMG, he is growing up too fast!!

CLIFF JUMPING!!

So we are in Idaho for a week right now because our 2 nieces decided to have their weddings on back to back weekends. So we got here Thursday night and the first wedding was on Friday. So Saturday we decided to go cliff jumping with Dustys sister and her family and his brother David and Davids wifes family and his brother Andy. So first thing you have to do is walk across this big ole cow pasture, then across this like desert. And the whole time you are thinking that there is no way there is a big lake with cliffs around here, but then you get to all of these rocks and you can see the lake. So now you have a goal. The hike was easy for most of the people we went with. For me it was a little harder, I actually fell right at the end and scraped my let, but I am so glad that I went. It was awesome. And so cold!! We took Ryan but not Jordyn. She stayed home with Grandma, Aunt Lacey and cousin Gracie. Ryan was scared at first of the water because there were these teeny, tiny fish in the water and he was convinced that they were going to eat him. But Dusty talked him into going off of the littlest jump, which was about 10ft. high. And then Ryan went off 3 more times. He was a riot. I didn't go off because, well, I am a chicken, plain and simple. The hike out was a little bit easier, to me, than the hike in just because you weren't going down hill. I think that going down hill is scarier than going up, because you have a better chance of falling. But it was a really, really fun time and I can't wait to go again..
